WHATEVER HAPPENED TO THE SOUL CREW FILM?

remember after the soul crew book came out, they said they were gonna make a film about it. with irvine welsh directing it.

I Wonder who would have played the top lads of our firm rhys ifans,jonathan owen, martin sheen (i think he's the one from dammed utd) and any other welsh actor you can think of .. But on a serious note I think it should be made into a film why should west ham and chelsea take all the praise

Irvine Welsh looked at the possibility of doing the film, with the two guys who wrote the best account of the Soul Crew Dave Jones & Tony Rivers, but decided that the film was not financially viable. Irvine Welsh visited a few home games, about 6 or 7 years ago, and was well impressed with Ninian Park and the fanatical support we had.

is it. irvine welsh would have done us justice i reckon. he loves all the football casual culture
