Phase 0, he said, will begin on May 4, and will involve the reopening of small businesses such as restaurants that can offer food to take away, and places that can take bookings. This will include establishments such as hardware stores, government sources cited as an example. Customers would have to call and make an appointment to be able to buy a particular product. Only one customer would be permitted in the premises at a time and would be served by a sales clerk behind a screen or a counter.
This phase will also include the reopening of hairdressers, albeit with employees using the "maximum level of individual protection,” the same sources said, such as masks and gloves.
Individual classes will also be allowed in gyms, as well as individual training for federated sports players and professional leagues.

The 4 phase plan shows us in phase 0 now with phase 1 starting May 11th depending on progress between now and then and the other phases being implemented every 2 weeks after that.
It means by the end of May shops, bars and restaurants should be open along with some hotels albeit with restrictions on opening hours and capacity etc.
No mention of international travel - I think that´s still a way off yet but things looking better than they have for a long while.

Can you get tested out there Annis? Not even letting kids out for most of that lockdown must have been really tough, particularly as many live In apartments. At least this occurred in early summer, hopefully we can all have a normal ish summer.

Mate of mine who works for BA reckons business travel only will open first, kind of makes sense. I don’t think many people will want to flock abroad just yet.

If you can give evidence that it’s business related and not a holiday it might be ok sooner.....

Simon Calder said this morning extensive polls say 55% of people won't fly until a proven vaccine, but 45% will.
Flights expected to be at least a third more expensive as they are talking about leaving the middle seats empty, probably a lot more than that though due to the lack of demand and extra distancing and cleaning measures needed in airport and flights themselves.

From what ive read there is only a test available that works to say if you currently have it.
There isnt one to say if you HAD it yet that works. So id assume they would be testing people with symptoms only until a new type of test is available.
Unless there has been an update since what i read.
