sorry but these so called idiots

Im reading these threads and alot of people calling the lads that end up having a fight at the end of a match is an idiot, Although this is annis' board and we all know what the majority of his books are about. Im not having a dig at any one im just curious what makes the person an idiot and do you think there is a difference between doing it now and doing it during 70s,80s and early90 and doing it now.

Its how its done Chief. If you want to fight with like minded then game on. But what possesses fans/people/wankers to attack supporters that are with there kids ? Or attack fans that are nearly classed as OOPs ? Sorry but older heads would not have done that. Yes there was Wankers in our day but what happened yesterday was an embarrassment to Pompey fans who in general are Passionate and fair minded. And i hope they can put there own house in order.
As from someone who stated in an earlier thread a copper told them they were glad they got there just desserts as they are well known for doing there cowardly deeds. I am just shocked there older heads haven't put there own house in order.
Mind you a fair question by yourself and one that deserves an answer. I am sure you will get a lot of answers from our older heads but that is my OPINION.

Think you need to clarify your question there. When you say idiot are you referring to the Cardiff guys that got off the bus or the Portsmouth lot that started on the Cardiff guys?

With all the CCTV and surveillance technology around today compared with the 70's and 80's obviously makes anyone who gets involved with football hooliganism in a public place or inside a stadium a complete idiot or simply not bothered about a huge fine/prison sentence and a 5 year banning order.

i mean someone that would see a fight and take place in it like what happend at Chelsea ect.
