An inflation-busting pay rise of 4.4% has been awarded to the Welsh Labour Government’s First Minister Mark Drakeford.
Drakeford was being paid £147,983 per annum – but will now see his salary (not including expenses) go up to £154,494 .
Thanks Boyo, that’s what we all need to hear right now.

We're all in this together after all.
Don't you just love politicians?
Incompetence of the highest order rewarded beyond belief.
Oh well, at least some people have come out of this whole shitstorm smelling of roses.

Its a fair point. Whatever Drakeford is, a politician is not it.

I dont think that is entirely true.
https://nation.cymru/news/no-pay-rise-f ... -pandemic/The Assembly members arent getting a pay rise - but the staff at the WAG are getting 4.4%
They intend to review it October 2020 (no doubt it will be approved and swept under the table)
Inflation in the UK is about 1.5% last year and roughly the same this year. So they are getting above the inflation rate increases. They also get something close to £300 a month allowance (not means tested or checked) for child care.
