Is that a fact or an assumption??
It is my belief (and it's only my opinion) that all the players involved want to stay at Cardiff. However, the club should sell anyone (Jay included) who cannot show long-term commitment, as we stand to lose too much money by allowing players to 'walk away' free at the end of the season.
I suppose a counter-argument is that it wouldn't matter so much if we were promoted BUT I would argue the 'ditherers' would then be likely to want to stay, but on bigger contracts. Also, think of the losses involved for the club in the likely event they did 'walk away' if promotion was not achieved.
I would hope that part of the incentive to stay would include a commitment from the club to increase wages appropriately IF they were to go up into the promised land.
Surely that would suit all concerned??
