Today: Football lads on their way & some already there

It was very peaceful until the police showed different tactics to the racists groups last week and treated todays demonstrators with a heavy handed approach .

59 police injured last Saturday, be interesting what they say about todays.

Personally I wanted both protests to go if peaceful , last week they were treated with kid gloves.

This week they came to make a stance and show pride

They went looking for a fight because they can't get it at football any more. So did Welsh boys from Wrexham but at least they were on the right side.

This I will totally dispute with you , the majority went to show their support for our history.



I could say exactly the same about BLM, but I don’t see things like you do one sided, they also had a minority that chose to go there to just fight, but not the majority.

Even if I didn’t have the benefit of already knowing how yesterday’s protests turned out, before entering this thread, I would’ve been absolutely disgusted reading the first page of this thread.

I think the organisers of BLM missed a golden opportunity last week by not more strongly insisting on social distancing at their protests (we’re still in the middle of a pandemic!) and insisting on entirely peaceful means of protest only - sit in’s, lie in’s etc. There is global support to end institutional racism after the disgraceful behaviour of cops in the US & it’s important to keep as many people on board with that as possible.

I also don’t think chucking statues into harbours is a great move, although I understand the anger amongst the BAME community in Bristol because that bloody statue should have been taken down years ago. Indeed, there have been petitions to get rid of it for decades.

Onto yesterday. Again, people have the right to protest - if it’s peaceful. Once again, I’m sure there were plenty of well intentioned people there who struggle with the changes they’ve seen in their communities over the years and don’t feel like they’re ‘white privileged.’

From the pictures and the videos I saw yesterday there were plenty of people who embarrassed themselves by behaving like they were at a lairy away day. The presence of Britain First and other highly dubious individuals and organisations only reinforced that view. Our parents and grandparents fought fascism. From what I saw yesterday there were lots of people who may have had more in common with Mosley’s black shirts in the 1930s than Churchill and co who were trying to defeat the Nazi scum.

If we are looking at the developed west then we will would need to include the US on the right and Canada on the left.

If the definition of the West is to also incorporate the anglosphere then we need to add the Australisian nations in there which again is one apiece with Australia being right and the kiwis being left.

So a total from that lot would be 5 on the right. 14 on the left and 5 left/right coalitions.

The Overton window has clearly shifted too far for a decent discussion to be held if you think Finn Gael, CDU or Macrons government are centre right. This is an accurate report of what happened in London today from Mark Slingsby LG a Veteran and former members of the Household Cavalry. Don’t listen to any biased reports from the media who attempt to brand Veterans as “Right Wing Thugs” thanks Mark.

In case you read or watch a bias media report about our veterans attendance at the Cenotaph today here is a report on the truth

I want to give some clarity to events in London because the main stream media won’t tell you the truth. So a call went out for veterans to attend the cenotaph to protect it this weekend from attack byANTIFA and BLM. One group of veterans met up at the cenotaph whilst another met at Horseguards Parade and then marched to the Cenotaph. A group of probably fifty or 60 of us. Many wearing masks and trying to social distance as best we could.

Shortly after members of the football alliance came to join us but soon after police pushed them back behind some barriers. Leaving the veterans alone and isolated at the Cenotaph. All was peaceful. Then after an hour or two the police came over because one of the bosses possibly Cressida DICK the useless, and wanted the veterans to leave and go to Parliament Square. We refused and were then told we could be arrested under section 14 of the POA.

We stood our ground and repeated attempts were made for us to leave with us being threatened with arrest. Finally we could see police were bringing more and more riot officers into Whitehall and therefore in order to remain peaceful and take the higher moral standpoint we agreed to leave as long as we could be allowed to go to the Guards Memorial. Then we marched off in two groups. One group marched off past Churchill’s war rooms and short time later the other group did the same. As we left we thanked the police for there treatment towards us and they actually thanked and clapped us too.

We remained at The Guards Memorial a short time and then decided to move to Churchill’s statue to help protect it as we had seen a number of ANTIFA dickers dicking us and so we marched into parliament square to the sound of the football fans singing rule Britannia and GOD save the queen at us.

Most of the time in parliament square it was peaceful but every now and then a little flare up occurred between protestors. Finally we veterans decided that we would leave the area so as not to get involved in any violence. By this point it had filtered into the crowd that ANTIFA and BLM were kicking off in Trafalgar Square. We gathered at Birdcage Walk and before we moved off a group of football fans came towards us and the police in riot line as some bottles were thrown.

Immediately the veterans intervened and formed a line across the road between the police and football fans. It was obvious the football fans wanted to get through the line to get to Trafalgar Square. The violence stopped immediately and the football fans backed off.

At this point the veterans departed Parliament Square and returned to the Guards Memorial and from there dispersed.

NOT ONE veteran was arrested or caused any trouble whatsoever. Throughout they remained professional and although things with the police were too and frow at one point with threats of arrests both side remained calm and negotiated a solution.

Just some observations:

The death of that guy was repulsive
Also repulsive was his violent criminal record and Porno career
The movement with his face next to Martin Luther King have missed an opportunity, better the photo of the young lad gunned down by two Hill Billies in Georgia who was not a violent criminal
Bandwagoners have now taken the moral crusade "whitey" is to blame..so lets loot !!!
What about the retired black police captain beaten to death in the USA protecting a store after serving his community for 38 years no discussions in the media?

Where are the policy shifts to the left to suggest that CDU, FG and En Marche are no longer center right? I apologise for the tone but over privileged Leftwingers just boil my piss, so please don’t take it personally. The point I was making about how Mussolini wanted to take control of not just infrastructure but industry as well and his state must come before the individual philosophy, seems pretty similar to Stalins Russia and even Mao’s China. I think the organisers of BLM missed a golden opportunity last week by not more strongly insisting on social distancing at their protests (we’re still in the middle of a pandemic!) and insisting on entirely peaceful means of protest only - sit in’s, lie in’s etc. There is global support to end institutional racism after the disgraceful behaviour of cops in the US & it’s important to keep as many people on board with that as possible.

I also don’t think chucking statues into harbours is a great move, although I understand the anger amongst the BAME community in Bristol because that bloody statue should have been taken down years ago. Indeed, there have been petitions to get rid of it for decades.

Onto yesterday. Again, people have the right to protest - if it’s peaceful. Once again, I’m sure there were plenty of well intentioned people there who struggle with the changes they’ve seen in their communities over the years and don’t feel like they’re ‘white privileged.’

From the pictures and the videos I saw yesterday there were plenty of people who embarrassed themselves by behaving like they were at a lairy away day. The presence of Britain First and other highly dubious individuals and organisations only reinforced that view. Our parents and grandparents fought fascism. From what I saw yesterday there were lots of people who may have had more in common with Mosley’s black shirts in the 1930s than Churchill and co who were trying to defeat the Nazi scum.

Yes there were some similarities between Fascist Italy and Soviet Union under Stalin. Where they differ in my opinion was Mussolini was happy to allow an amount of free enterprise where as Stalin definitely didn't being the paranoid psychopath he was. Neither were systems I'd like to live under both being anti democratic. I don't believe BLM are left wing revolutionaries though it's enevitable that some are and neither do I believe all the people under the FLA grouping were Nazis and or racists though it's enevitable some are. What both groups have in common is that they both have violent elements which everyone can do without.
I strongly disagree with the defacing of war memorials. Half the BLM doughnuts damaging them don't take into consideration that thousands of black and Asian troops fell during the wars. Even Nelson had black sailors in his navy. Likewise having fascists "defending" them is equally abhorrent to me being ex Army.

In truth you could hardly call this government right wing. Cultural Marxism is rife in higher education, the Civil Service and huge chunks of the media. The whole political landscape has moved Left not only here but in much of the World.

Re: Educators.. my experience of them in Uni and research, I’d say 80-90 are left leaning to various degrees, but are fairly placid. Media people I know are more vociferous with their beliefs. I’ve spent the afternoon with both, plenty of discussions about yesterday’s events, nothing about last week.

I’m used to it now tho..the lack of balance I mean.
