Like the vast majority of people who saw the footage of George Floyd dying, I was appalled. It was horrific to watch a helpless man have the air driven out of his body by the very people who should be protecting him. No one could deny that charges had to be brought against the police officers responsible. And like the vast majority of people, I was delighted when they were charged. Any other outcome would have been a travesty.
Their arrest should have been the end of the public’s interest in the matter. There was certainly no justification for the looting and violence that erupted across the USA.
Change should not be brought about by the wanton destruction of property and criminal activity. Black Lives Matter, an organisation which, among other things, advocates the defunding of police, was front and centre in promoting this direct action. There was similarly no justification for its protests in the UK....

Guy urinating next to a statue of a fallen british policemen who gave his life for his country and the Idiot should be fined for this
2) Girl burning the british flag that was being flown on a war memorial for all those black white asian Siki
who perished defending our country
picture 1 all over the news and rightly so
picture 2 hardly any news
both should be fined both should be made to apologise and we all move on

I've noticed alot of this... So a groups cause damage and stuff when the blm protests are happening... And this forum is full of "they are thugs scum etc lock them all up * then comes the isn't it great football lads etc going to defend places.... Turns into violence then comes the topics.... Not all of them were thugs just a small minority.... Then comes there... So these guys were arrested... Why wasn't this guy...

So why was the guy who pissed next to the memorial to the dead Policeman jailed, yet the woman who climbed the Cenotaph and tried to burn the country’s flag not even charged?
