I see Wetherspoons are being allowed to reopen sometime in England on June. Shortly followed by the rest of the U.K.
I would just like to remind people that Tim Martin, the 'boss' of Wetherspoons, sacked all of his staff at the beginning of this crisis and told them to go work in Tesco as he flatly refused to pay them.

What a sh!thouse he is then.
Shame the local drunks will not boycott these atmosphere vacuums he calls a traditional pub as they can get a pint for about 2quid.
If that is true about him and his staff I won't be going to any of them

what he does works .. and its joe publics fault that they work..

Agree he has hit on a successful idea but hasn't endeared himself to the staff.

I don't go to the local Wetherspoons but often find myself heading for one when away.. I suppose its because you know what your going to get , although its crap its exactly the same standard of crap in every one bit like McDonalds..

Spoons in Barnsley seemed to be the only pub in the town centre letting City fans in.
