A Vaulks throw-in wreaks havoc again, but Bennett is pulled up, somewhat unfairly, for a heavy aerial challenge on Tom Barkhuizen in the Preston box.

Bacuna does brilliantly to harry and break down possession in midfield and releases Glatzel, who hares towards the box before Ben Davies hauls him down.

Good to see Glatzel causing problems for Preston straight away. Good header from Ralls for the goal.

Sloppy defending by Cardiff City



That is really sloppy defending from Cardiff, it must be said.

Maguire is allowed to saunter through as Browne is laid off on the edge of the box, but his shot is blocked before it falls into the path of Johnson, who finishes well on the follow-up.
