Championship Deadline Round-up

Gylfi Sigurdsson has gone to Hoffenheim fm Reading for 6 million quid. Probably good news for us - he would have tore up the league this season and was already showing signs of doing so.

Ramon Nunez has gone to Leeds fm Olimipia in Honduras. Very lightweight player I've seen a few times. Despite that, Leeds are assembling a decent squad and should get to the playoffs.

Leicester sign Japan midfielder Yuki Abe. Should be a decent signing if he adjusts. Not sure about Leicester though. Squad not as good as last year when Pearson picked up many good loan signings and manaher obviously not as good.

Plymouth picked up Guadeloupeian Stephane Zubar brother of Ronald who plays for Wolves. Maaahhh.

Reading sign Khizanishvili on a season-long loan fm Blackburn. Good bit of business for them but they need some creativity now their Icelandic maestro Sigurdsson has gone.

Hulse having a medical at QPR. Good signing if they can keep him fit. Bit like his old Crewe strike partner Dean Windass in that respect. So will probably play 8 games.
