Was the funeral of my mate who could no longer deal

With mental health and took his own life

The pain of a mother burying her child today was the saddest moment in my life to date

Words for once failed me (unusual I know)

I just so much wanted to make her and his dad, sister ok, but nothing I could say or do would have that outcome

They are Helpless, broken and i fear for his mum & dad, both in there 70s

Most of us have children, we should never ever be burying them first.

We may differ on opinions, I'm aware a few would probably enjoy chinning me

But it is that, opinions wether right or wrong, it really doesnt matter

If anyone suffers with mental health, dont be the "hard man"

Speak up, and do it now.

You really dont want to see your family & friends broken and blaming

Ourselves for not knowing he was that bad

And plus

You deserve a life to,

IF YOU NEED IT, GET HELP,

TOMOROW MAYBE TO LATE.

Life makes football insignificant at times such as this,I've been unfortunate in my 58 years,to see many parents bury their child, and it is horrendous to see them crumble.worst one for me was over 40 years ago now, when a close friend hung himself over our local woods,he never showed any sign of even being depressed, was working as an extra on some big films, and even had a cheque in his pocket for £500,which back then was a lot of money, life is the biggest drug of all,as one minute you can be top of the world, and the next in the depths of despair :sad7: you will get through this mate, time is a great healer, concentrate on you and your boy,and don't let life get in the way of living ;) you are bang on mate, life is short, and it f@cking flies by at a rate of knots, stay positive 72,life throws some shit in our face from time to time,we must just wash it off,and eventually the bad smell dissappears with time.and don't forget our trip to Istanbul in the near future (bring ear plugs :laughing5: ) :old: :bluebird:
