MY VIEW " CARDIFF CITY PUT IN A GREAT EFFORT BUT JUST FELL SHORT "

Cardiff City dominated the second half and deserved to at least be level on the tie but couldn't get the goal to equal the tie

Smithies made a great save to deny Knockaert

Morrison booked in the 35th minute for handball

Danny Ward shot over from distance in the 38th minute

Leandro Bacuna booked in first half stoppage time for pulling back Kebano

Cyrus Christie's shot from distance was well saved by Smithies, before Knockaert's shot was deflected wide

HALF TIME: FULHAM 1-1 CARDIFF CITY (3-1 ON AGGREGATE)

Neil Harris brought on Lee Tomlin and Nathaniel Mendez-Laing for Marlon Pack and Junior Hoilett at the start of the second half

Decorodova-Reid booked for Fulham in the 50th minute

Vaulks booked in the 52nd minute

Rodak booked for time wasting in the 59th minute

Joe Ralls booked in the 61st minute

Smithies made a brilliant save in the 67th minute to deny Kamara

In the 68th minute, Smithies made an outstanding save to deny Kamara

Christie booked for Fulham in the 70th minute

Robert Glatzel replaced Danny Ward in the 71st minute

Fulham somehow survived a goalmouth scramble with Rodak making a brilliant save in the 72nd minute

Michael Hector headed wide from a corner in the 76th minute

Mendez-Laing shot just wide from distance in the 78th minute

Callum Paterson replaced Josh Murphy in the 81st minute

Well I must say we were superb.

I wasn’t a fan when Harris came in but with a pre season and a few new players we will do well again next season.

Whatever a great season in the circumstances bring on 20/21.

Yes great effort to get to lay offs but let’s be honest Fulham were streets ahead of us in midfield. So when are we going to see better footballers than Ralls, Paterson, Glatzel and others?

Harris has got to find some players with better basic skills, pace and ability to pass forwards on the deck.

Not another season of Ralls and Pack and Paterson please
