Danny Ward to return to Huddersfield

Cardiff City's out-of-contract striker Danny Ward could return to Huddersfield Town, according to ExaminerLive.

There has been radio silence from the Bluebirds regarding a new deal for the forward, with chances of fresh terms appearing slimmer by the day.

Ward is a familiar face at the John Smith's Stadium having made 140 appearances for the Terriers between 2011 and 2015, scoring 21 goals.

The 29-year-old has scored seven goals for City this season, including the crucial winner against Bristol City after the restart.

If we are serious about going up we should be getting better than ward hes too inconsistent and injury prone

Would be fine with him leaving as long as we replace him with Kiefer Moore. But if he goes and we don't get someone else in it does not look too good. Anyone fancy starting the season with Glatzel and Patterson as our only attacking options?

It's all gone ominously quite on the Moore front it seemed like he was about to sign for us a week ago.
