France happy to let them come , everyone should be sent back to Calais that day .

BBC

An example yest they shouted they needed help immediately help sent from Dover and then they’ve achieved their mission on UK soil all the way from Iraq and they now can not be forced to
Leave .

They also phone each other once landed in UK and more immediately follow.

Its common knowledge that they are told as soon as get uk signal dial 999 ask for coastguard and be picked up! Only answer to it is to put imagration office in Calais and be allowed to take migrants back to France from their boats after all that's where they are supposed to ask for help... Until then unfortunately sfa we can do about it as under international law we must help if called by migrants.. as soon as we do this the crossings will stop well those that call for help will stop coming... but cannot see france agreeing to this even though it's a simple solution... and fck the goody two shoes who say let them all come here.. :old:
Not a boris fan but until we are allowed to take them back to france after picking up from boats there is nothing ANY uk gvmnt can do :banghead:

They are wez! but unfortunately they know that international law means got to rescue them once in contact with coadtand? But once out of EU we dont have to provide benefits or housing so the buggers can wait in camps or get repatriated back home! No benefits stuck in camps may deter relatives from joining them like they are doing now?

Before can be sent back we need to confirm their status and most of problem is they throw away passports so we cannot send them anywhere without a proper passport! Perhaps we should remove all our border patrol vessels from Dover straits and let them take chances with weather instead of us spending millions to help them arrive? French authorities wont stop it as they'll pick up the bill for keeping them in France easier to wave then off with a packed lunch and a fone to call coastguard.. :banghead:

You may have seen the video Wez where Nigel Farage is out in the Channel and actually videos the French Navy escorting an immigrant vessel into British waters where they are then picked up by UK Border Control. This is only now making the mainstream news as Farage investigated it and posted videos. It appears to me that the French are obviously encouraging migrants to get to the UK by using its navy to help provide safe passage. You couldn't make this up and it makes my piss boil.

He posted more videos from the North West yesterday which seems to be worst hit in terms of allocation of these migrants. The government are putting them up in 4* hotels and giving them money to spend. Some charity also paid for a group of illegals to have a tour of Anfield! Serco is the services firm that have been given a sizeable contract to manage this process and its employees at the hotels (which are booked up for months and not open to the public) have been instructed to say nothing to anyone.

If it wasn't for Nigel Farage publishing videos this invasion would have carried on unquestioned. The government need to really get tough on this and what concerns me is the lack of action on it so far.

What can gvmnt do? Cannot refuse to help.... cannot send back to their own country as they wont have passport .... at present cannot deprive them of money still in EU but once that is no more we are not obligated to give benefits..... we are screwed unless France allows us to return them while at sea.. it will be same for any party in power... best thing is remove border vessels from area and broadcast it... that way migrants will know we wont be there to pick them up halfway across? We are only then obligated to pick up if they are sinking or have sunk like we normally do for any mariner! We are not a ferry company :banghead: ..

I share your frustrations Al. Listening to the news now and Pritti Patel now seems to be 'focused' on the problem at least. I'm not sure what the answers are in terms of our legal obligations but this is why we elect governments to find solutions. It simply has to stop.

At moment nothing can do as under international law we have to pick them up when they call coastguard .... we could make it harder by removing all or leave just one border patrol boat in dover that way they take there chances as we are not obliged to have boats in channel ... France is the answer but they will not be helping us thats for sure? Not sure what else gvmnt can do short of refusing to go pick them up! But hopefully when leave EU gvmnt gets tough and refuse to give benefits or housing for those crossing channel as they will be illegal immigrants and as such not entitled to our benefit system as they are now! then maybe it won't be such an attractive proposition for their families to try cross channel.

Once we leave the EU then it is even less likely that the French ( or any other EU nation ) will take them back. You can’t tell them “we want to go it alone” one minute and then say “ it’s a EU problem “ the next. This is one of those bits of Brexit that wasn’t thought through properly.

Really fed up of this ...."usher them thru to the UK. They'll av em".

Being in EU is helping isnt it? But this situation is typical of france fck everyone we do what we like! Bet they've got one man and his cockerel stopping migrants from leaving French shores while we got loads of boats helping migrants! Shows how stupid we are...... bit of organisation will stop 90% of migrants leaving french shores but France not interested why should they be ? Once leave EU we are not obligated to human rights court and we don't have to give housing or benefits that's where we should be strong to act as a deterent for migrants to come here in 1st place...

BBC reporter watched as 20 migrants got into a rubber dinghy on a tourist beach it returned 1hrs later as to many people on board it went back out minus children and women! Police were called as in danger of sinking was told on their way 4hrs later no police! ! And this is why there are so many coming over no one to stop them? French are lying through their teeth saying stopped ten times more than last year? Mmmmm yes stopped 10 instead of 1 boat.... sounds about right.. :banghead:
