Scunthorpe have appointed Notts County

Scunthorpe have appointed Notts County assistant manager Neil Cox as their new manager.

COX JOINS IRON

Scunthorpe United have appointed former player Neil Cox as manager on a deal of undisclosed length.

The 48-year-old came through the ranks at Glanford Park as a young player before being sold to Aston Villa in 1991. He spent six years as Neal Ardley's assistant at AFC Wimbledon before following him to Notts County last year.
