Health Secretary Matt Hancock said the ban on gatherings of more than six people will be in place for the "foreseeable future" and more than like until this Christmas.


So bang goes crowds at football matches returning way in to next year.

It refers to groups of friends ect, cambridge still having 2.5k fans in their game "Saturday"
But woudnt be optimistic as to having more than very limited fans in before xmas! It is very worrying for clubs that's for sure ..

Agreed, socialising inside and in close proximity to friends/family over a prolonged period is vastly different from being socially distanced outside.

The guidance and advice is very clear. Each setting is different and that’s why pubs are still open in Caerphilly, the tracking and tracing is showing 90% of infections are contracted within family/small groups.

We’re way off being able to get to full capacity but limited capacity is a definite possibility as long as they get this spike under control.

It's now under review the test events if stop them going to be a month or two before try again! But personally think waste of time as so many different scenarios at every club , if dont know how to get people into stadiums safely by now they never will...

I've got to say this is an absolute corker from Hancock, as he's said this law won't come in until next Monday. So from next Monday, social gatherings are restricted to a maximum of 6 people, but everyone can crack on and do what they please until then!

So the government have inside knowledge that this virus has its own calendar! Until Sunday, the virus won't attack any groups with over 6 people but from next Monday, the virus' diary is to look out for all groups with over 6 people and make sure person number 7 of the group has it! Ridiculous!

I blame the government and general public equally. People have total disregard for our parents and grandparents . Blame the government and Drakeford all you want. The buck stop with us!!
