Marlon Pack starts
No Josh Murphy
Lee Tomlin on bench but not fit.

Team news verdict
A slightly more defensive team selected by Neil Harris today, with Marlon Pack coming in for Will Vaulks in the middle of the park.
Interestingly, too, there is no Josh Murphy in the starting lineup or on the bench, why that is, exactly, remains to be seen.
It leaves Harris with only Gavin Whyte as a wide option on the bench, a player who has been largely out of favour in recent months.
No doubt Pack has been brought in to shore up the midfield, given the volume of goals City have shipped in recent weeks. Whether that pays off remains to be seen.
It's heartening, at least, to see Lee Tomlin on the bench. There were question marks over his fitness leading into this game, but fortunately he is fit enough to start among the replacements.
No Aden Flint once again.

I'm a big fan of Neil Harris.
But I don't know what the question is, if Marlon Pack is the answer.

personally i though Vaulks was our worse player last Saturday..

Maybe Flint and Murphy off to new pastures ? 2 high earners too!

Pack deserve the chance because our of the 2 games played so far he’s the only decent performance. And he’s that extra voice in midfield barking the orders, which we do miss if it Vaulks, Ralls and Bacuna.

Zero creativity meaning there will be zero service for Moore and ralls will be our floaty set piece taker aiming for Morrison every time. Hoilett will struggle and has been for months and will not beat a man and will offer nothing.
I am going for a sneaky 1-0 win.

not sure any of our midfield is the answer, move them on and get fresh in!
The whole team needs to buck its ideas up, some of them think they are on easy money here.
and wonder what odds Bacuna to give the ball away to their player again to score!

Midfield very poor. I would have Paterson in there at least we would have more running than slow pack

Murphy really good option from the bench with his pace so very surprising. As another poster said maybe he’s off somewhere. Also hate to say this but I’d prefer flint on the bench to bamba

Forest team news
Tiago Silva remains sidelined for the hosts and will be for a couple of weeks.
Sabri Lamouchi has also hinted that his squad has taken a couple of knocks in midweek, but insisted they were not too serious.
Lamouchi said: “We don’t have any serious problems. All players are ready for the game and we don’t have any serious problems at the moment.”

On paper we look bang average. No quality or flair in the team. Desperate for a new CAM as Ralls has many great qualities but vision and creativity are not amongst them.

With lang gone and no murphy and a 6ft 6 striker waiting for a cross i am confussed? holliet never gets to byline to whip in cross 9 times out of 10 he cuts in and shoots but rarely crosses.

Have to agree that Flint would be a better option on the bench.
Perhaps movement next week in the transfer market.
Sat Sep 19, 2020 11:25 am
If we were to sell Murphy and flint next week it wouldn’t be the end of the world but as it stands they need to be in the bench for me
Sat Sep 19, 2020 11:26 am
We look weaker when compared to last season
Sat Sep 19, 2020 11:27 am
Bennett AGAIN. No creativity. Backwards and sideways. Why not give Cunningham a chance?
