Fans not getting together in stadiums

Sun Oct 25, 2020 10:19 am

Could it be they know that football fans would get together and demonstrate against this people destroying shutdown ?

We have a nannying class whose despise the great working class people of this country.

Once again we will have a generation of people whose futures will be set in poverty and despair,

think the early 1980s on steroids.

You think they did this deliberately...and you compare the current lot with Thatcher's lot? :? :o

The stadiums are shut for the good health of the people and nothing else. Football crowds (to some degree) were due back in early October and if the 'blame' lies anywhere, just look back at the images of partying mobs over the summer and the damage they have done

Cardiff University students are another bone of contention right now; with the majority of their residence blocks now on lockdown due to the high numbers of Covid related illness following their 'we're back...' party nights

Perhaps you need to sit down with yourself and have a chat...! ;) :thumbright:

There have been plenty of anti-vax, anti lockdown, “it’s a hoax” etc protests all over the UK for several months and nothing has been stopping these hordes of protesting football fans from attending. As it is these protests in cities of several hundreds of thousands of people have only attracted a few hundred at most (the one in Cardiff had about a dozen people show up). So if only 12 people out of a potential 400,000 make the effort to turn up I very much doubt the government are concerned that a football game with ~6,000 fans will have enough protesting power to bring about the next revolution.

I imagine that the people willing to protest at the football could all make their plans in the back of the one taxi they’d be sharing

Not everything has to have a secret plan or conspiracy behind it. Sometimes life is just a bit dull.

Not everyone 'has' to get it but everyone is affected by Covid (Boris is living proof) and the 'lycra' thing is one in which all classes partake, as it is peer pressure now that scruffy jeans and t-shirt are considered 'out of vogue' to be see in on a bike, horse or other previously acceptable mode of leisure
