The OFCOM Broadcasting code contains hundreds of words that are banned from being spoken/sung on air during shows before the watershed. Thousands of songs have radio edits, if you listen to the radio for an hour I guarantee you’ll hear at least one song that is an edit of the original recording. Why this is even news I’ve got no clue.

To be honest mate radio channels have been dubbing out some of the words for years ,it's only with this BLM crap it's being made a thing of again.

There's a twist in this..the lyrics will be changed if the song is played on Radio 1 but not on Radio 2.
Reason is the Luvvies in the BBC think the younger snowflake Radio 1 listeners will be offended by the words (faggot)
These are the same youngsters who are having parties, raves, fights etc, killing people with covid. This doesn't offend them.
