Bet they can't give away the one they'd like to get off their books the most.

This has been coming for years.

They've gambled massively in the hope of getting to the Premier League and the money that comes with it. It's backfired hugely.

This is another season they won't reach the Premier League and they're finally facing the repercussions.

Ned, it just shows, theyve given manager after manager big money to spend and NO promotions achieved.

So when people say Malky & Warnock could not fail because they had money, they had less than half what Derby have been giving their managers.

It took Leicester years.

Malky & Warnock were wise, good managers who got us promotion from the Championship :bluebird: :bluebird:

And they sold ground to owner! The EFL must stamp this practice out of selling grounds to pay debts otherwise see more clubs like Coventry Wimbledon homeless? Drastic changes need to be made on wages cap or similar to halt the madness infecting championship clubs

I agree.

Can't argue with both Warnock's and Malky's record in the Championship with us :thumbright:

Warnock had very little money in the championship.

Ironically when he did have money in the championship he bought quite badly.

Malky spent a lot but got us up.

Derby are strange. Have had really good players but never seemed to have the teamwork.

While the prize to get to the PL stays the same this will remain the same, the sooner the top six f off and join a euro league the better. Financial caps aren't working as so many loop holes. :ayatollah: :bluebird:

That’s actually a good point.

Hopefully in three years still the same.

So can City pick up some good Derby players on the cheap (assuming there are some). A bit unfair and immoral I know, but we had to sell Kav to Wigan when we were in terrible financial trouble years back after Sam misjudged his monetary position - which to be fair he admitted and apologised to the supporters.

What's that 36m been spent on then if they r looking after us??
Guessing our predicted budget has been wiped out due to no match day income and is it covering all costs of wages and just standard outgoings of running a club, no doubt alot is going on court cases, paying monthly payment's regarding debts and whatever is left we can use to bring in players ??

We got Kiefer Moore this way.

They have a couple of players who may well be useful. Might even want them off the wage bill for nothing like we have done in the past.

Marshall
Bielik
Waghorn
Lawrence

They are the only ones who would improve our squad , but probably only Bielik would be a starter

Thats a very poor Derby squad and you can see why they are struggling
