The massive insurance payout against future earnings will help soften the blow. Im sure he could've signed for
a league 1 or 2 side but wouldn't get the payout and also if that didn't work out the payout would be lower due to
the lower league play....

Who knows the full truth Trev, but according to reports it was Davenport and his father that were drunk and went to his sisters home at 2am & the row developed and Devenport was allegedly held his sister by the throat and headbutted her and witness heard him screaming racial abuse. The fella that stabbed him in the legs didnt live with her, so they wernt there to confront him
