What have the managers said

Cardiff City manager Neil Harris: :bluebird:

"It’s a big ask (to reach the top six). Every game that goes by where we don’t change our form then it becomes tougher.

"This group is capable of winning games in succession. That's what we need to do. We need another winning run. We need to win back-to-back games, it needs to be three then it needs to be four and that is what takes you from a long way off to back in the fringes again.

"I've got belief the group has got that in them. And when we get the players back fit then we have certainly got that.

"It’s about trying to give the players confidence at the moment, during a losing run. It’s getting that first one, winning that first game, is key.

"Getting back to that clean-sheet mentality, which we have not had in the last five games, finding that edge from the set plays and open play.

"A little bit of luck with injuries, then I’m confident we will get back to winning ways."

QPR manager Mark Warburton:

“We are preparing for a well-managed team. We have every respect for Neil Harris and his staff and everything they do.

“They have a talented squad and people criticise certain teams, but they have quality in their ranks.

“They are direct, they maximise every possibility at set-pieces and the long throws coming in from Will Vaulks, as you saw against Norwich.

“As well as the physicality, they have good footballers as well, so we know we face a tough test.”
