Bournemouth’s Jack Simpson who had agreed to come to Cardiff and even a medical was arranged for him.
At the last moment Simpson changed his mind and did a u-turn , even the Bournemouth manager had a chat with him to persuade him to sign for Cardiff.

Jack Simpson only has till this June on his contract at Bournemouth and they have decided not to renew it.

He would have been a Harris signing and at the time is was not sure if Harris would remain with us. Well the rest you know and he must be feeling he has dodged a bullet.

He made the right decision,the club is in a mess,they sanction two new signings,then sack the manager a day later,hard to believe the goings on at this club,millions of wasted money over the years on stupid decisions,and I’m afraid it’s not over

May change mind if knows mick coming here? as for Scotland you don't see many if any top players go there ordinary players go rangers/Celtic just to say look I've got the league or cup on my cv well they're the only ones who win anything.

Or that he'd be joining a team that actually play great football under one of Britain's most exciting young managers?

Or that he'd be playing European football against some of the continents most iconic teams, something we'll likely never be able to offer any player?

No dillusion here pal! The scottish league is a two horse race,with the odd upset here and there!! Could be the reasons you state,or could be thats the easy route to some silverware on his cv,something your right he wouldnt get here,or at bournemouth for that matter!! Hes not all that anyway.
