Mick McCarthy Philosophy

I vaguely recall a pre match interview with Mick McCarthy when we play Wolves at Home. We were top 6 and they were top of the table.

Interviewer for Sky said something like, " Cardiff are on a good unbeaten run and have drawn their last 6". Mick replied , " yep we won 3 and lost 3 so i know what i'd rather".

Pretty sure that was it and we went on to lose 1-2. They were 2-0 up in 1st 10 mins.

So unbeaten and drawing 6/6 or more points and winning 3/6. would you rather Mick's thinking?

Yes I'd 100% prefer 9 points from 6 games than 6pts.
