Updated:

I forgot to say, Big Mick stopped the first training session with in 20mins and got complete silence out of them all and told them how it would be from that day :thumbright: :bluebird:

When Cardiff City had their first training session, the first 20mins, the players were moaning, up in arms and Big Mick, just stopped the training session and gave a good talking to all the players and they trained the way he wanted them to, by the end there was nothing but smiles and laughs :thumbright: :thumbright: :bluebird: :bluebird:

Apparently, there was No harmony and No togetherness and players so unhappy.

Sounds like he was just the manager that the players needed.

Says a lot about Harris that the players were like that.

Important thing is the team harmony and team spirit looks very high with Mick McCarthy and Terry Connor in charge :bluebird:

Apparently - Mick has said " This is the best squad he has inherited " - Since he stared managing .

Strange isnt it - the club paid a professional to professionally do a job. That job includes managing players, making sure the players are ok, incentivised to perform etc etc. So just what the hell was Harris up to ?

Came across as a wannabe cockney car mechanic. All gob and BS.

McCarthy comes in, and doesnt appear to do much - other than have a chat to the players about 'stuff'. Obviously there is more to it than that but it just goes to show at this level when you are with the players - you dont actually need much - other than honesty, no BS and a way of encouraging them to be better players

Ive always liked Mick's dry Yorkshire wit and no BS attitude. However ,I didnt think he was the right man for us. So glad to be completely wrong :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

I believe that. We have a great squad shame he didn’t come in 10 games Earlier.

Or maybe 7 games earlier?

If we had won just one and drawn one of those seven, we would now be in the Top 6 :(

Right now he looks an inspired choice, Ned

And it certainly paints a picture that doesn't look too good on Neil Harris' management style and/or abilities, as the spine of squad (with a couple of new faces) was pretty much that left by Neil Warnock

Most gave Harris a fair crack of the whip, so he can't complain now he has been found out

No doubt something had gone wrong at the end of Harris time in charge and Mick has come in brought a new believe and energy to the squad.
That said Harris had some horrible fixtures towards the end and we've had a favorable run since he's left.

This is the third time in 18 months this squad has gone on a fantastic run looking capable of going up. Equally we've been on runs that have had us talking about relegation and cost 2 managers their jobs

Great post. Also we should also remember that Harris had a terrible run with injuries prior to his forced departure.

Big Mac has made a great start but let's keep our fingers crossed that key players such as Moore/Morrison/Wilson keep fit and well until the end of the season.

Look at the improvement of players like Pack, slated on here, motm for me yesterday, Flint, told he can leave the club, 20% of votes for motm, Murphy, rubbish not interested, waste of a pair of old boots this season, how many assists and goals recently??
Harris was clearly not up to the job.

Apparently, Flints Grandmother found an old pair of boots in the attic, and passed them on to him, little knowing they once belonged to Alan Hansen..

It's not just football; I bet most on here have had a manager who didn't exactly inspire them at some point...

It doesn't always have to be about money ;)
