Police presence still in full force

Despite the nation still being in a state of lockdown, there were no risks taken on derby day.

When the two Cardiff City team buses drove out of their Vale of Glamorgan base, they were bookended by two police motorcycles.

A police escort almost brought some semblance of normality to proceedings, really, and there was a big presence around the ground at the Liberty Stadium.

There were no chances being taken, even if fans weren't permitted to get anywhere near the Cardiff buses, but it was a striking image, given police presence has been fairly non-existent ever since football started back again last year.
