' Sol Bamba T-shirts '
The one overarching theme of the day was the sportsmanship displayed by both sides.
Ahead of the match, it was heartening to see both clubs coming together to support a new campaign to kick racism out of the game.
And that great initiative between the both clubs continued ahead of the match as Swansea showed a touch of clash by wearing T-shirts to show their support for Sol Bamba, who is currently undergoing treatment for non-Hodgkin's lymphoma.
Cardiff emerged from the tunnel first donning black shirts before their counterparts strode out wearing yellow shirts.
On both warm-up shirts, the message strewn across the front was: "Kick it out. Tackling racism and discrimination."
Across the back, the message read: "We are with you Bamba 22."
Rivalries were put to one side and the good side of football shone through brightly.
