The old fashioned winger who tried to get to the byline is virtually gone now.
It’s all about keeping possession with your right footed wide man playing on the left and vice versa.

To be fair i think we've been blessed with a fair few decent wingers over the past few years. Warnock loved his team to play with pace out wide. Promotion season, Mendez and hoilett were lethal. Kadeem harris was another one that season that couldn't really get in the team but was a out and out winger. Noone when he first come in was ripping full backs for fun. Confidence as a winger is everything when in form players like Murphy and ojo are quality widemen also.
