Close! Smithies forced into a smart save after Marcus Forss was found in acres of space 12 yards out, but his low shot is denied.

Brentford now more in the game

Nice play from Ng and Vaulks down the left and the latter finds Wilson.

Wilson then squares it back to Vaulks outside the box, but he hits it first time and drags it just wide.

Playing well but we've left shooting boots home as every effort as only seen very soft shots at goal.

City still pushing, despite that Brentford chance; but the Bluebirds need some shoiting practice after week efforts from NG and Vaulks...

Smithies is gaining a lot of distance for us with his clearances but nobody seems willing to gamble and chase the ball down

Brown tracks Toney and applies pressure, forcing a throw-in in Cardiff's favour. He has coped with the big striker really well so far.

Really route one from Cardiff. Brown lumps one over the top and Ralls shows Jansson a clean pair of heels, but he scuffs his shot and Raya saves.

A ball is floated to the back post by Fosu and Toney keeps it in with a header back into the mixer, but Forss' volley, from less than five yards out, flies over the bar!

Vaulks releases Moore down the left. The striker looks to cut back in but overcooks his touch and it runs through to Raya.

Save! Oh that was a horror moment for Pack.

He goes to play it back to Smithies and Toney seizes the opportunity and intercepts before firing first time. Incredibly, Smithies sticks out a right hand and manages to save it.

Unreal stop from City's keeper.

Pack needs to stop dictating... calls Sang forward which puts Nelson out of position, busts a gut tracking back and gets the ball back which Pack ultimately loses and only a massive save by Smithies keeps it level
