Perry Ng fires in a lovely low cross after some nice interplay, but Moore cannot get on the end of it and it's turned behind for a corner.

Bright start from City.

Friend goes through Colwill this time. Another foul but in a dangerous area on the corner of the box.

Great backtracking from Joe Ralls, nicking the ball from underneath Jonathan Leko as he was about to pull the trigger inside the box.

Has anyone else noticed the (senseless IMHO) MediaWales and other agency blackout on the Bluebird game today...? :?

Last time I looked they were apparently there to spread the actual news rather than be a 'social media' source of misinformation...?

Was good from Joe and we seem to be thwarting any real danger so far, despiteca valiant effort from the young Brums...

Lovely interplay again from City. Pack down the flank, Moore flicks it on to Colwill who drives into the box. He frees Ng on the wing and he drills in a low cross, but it's turned behind for a corner.

Birmingham break down the left and a cross is pulled back to Sunjic on the edge of the box, but he slices his first-time shot wide of the mark.

Close!

Ciaron Brown with a stunning diagonal ball over the top of Marc Roberts and Wilson controls it with his chest before smacking it on the volley.

Zach Jeacock dives and gets a decent hand on it, but it spins towards the goal, only for a defender to get back and clear before a Cardiff player can nudge it over the line. Inches away from a second!

I've defended Mick on not playing the young players. Rushing them will do more damage than good.

But it would be right to give some of them 20-30 minutes in the second half.

Dominating at the moment.

I think we’d have to have a big revamp of the squad to get the best out of Wilson. He’s playing with so many average players. Would love to keep though

Rightly so.

He doesn't play like this every game.

Far too inconsistent and goes missing when the going gets tough.

Not worth the money to have 5 or six good performances out of him.

Sadly, we are; and we already know our chances of getting him back are pretty much zero... :(

Ned is right with his comment above. Whilst we want to win every game and don't want to ruin young players confidence, this is a great game in which to introduce one or two new players off the bench...

Wilson has that magic and if we had the money we should buy but sadly we havent got that money but he is proven many times that his bit of magic is worth the money.

When teams are spending 100 million on players if we want promotion a player like Wilson who can score certainly with free kicks is a must

If I remember correctly Burnley offered £15 million for him at the end of last season but Liverpool wanted something like £20 million and they couldn't agree a compromise. Definately out of our price range. The only way I could see him here next season is if Liverpool ask to much for him again and we got him on loan again. Very unlikely I expect he would probably go on loan to a premier club someone like Norwich.
