The almost comical comment is that we will sell before we BUY. We will sell and to a large extent NOT replace, simply relying on kids who, with respect have had a tortuous season (apart from Feb) in their respective age leagues.
NH, and MM were given no tools to work with or help from the board despite hefty parachute payments. Next season will be more of the same and worse.

I've been saying this for the last few seasons and I have been called negative over it. Now we are where we are all those that called me out have gone quite.
We are now going through what I call a Reset. We don't have the parachute payments anymore so now we are being forced into looking at the academy guys. Next season will be a great test to see how good the academy is. I think we will be comfortable in the Championship but promotion atm will be a bridge too far.

but just before pandemic i thought we where nearly "debt free" and in a better position than most in the Championship due to vincent tan paying off debt year by year and we have just had our last parachute payments
But the way fans are talking we are in a worse position than wycome wanderers surely we have' nt dropped so far in this division financially more than all the other teams
Hopefully we fans will all be able to return next season but it sounds like we will be watching a cardiff B team.

What have you been saying Ian?
About selling players? We haven’t sold anyone we didn’t want to keep. Prove me wrong.
About a reset. You say it every year. Every year it’s wrong and people say we need to reset and develop a new style of football.
Every year you say we are gonna settle for mid table etc. Then we end up competing at the top end.
Every year you say we won’t sign anyone. We ended up being one of the highest spenders in the division last season.
You haven’t been proven right at all, ever.

Not reset as such but you have said we have to start again and accept mid table and then we have made a play off run.

No idea. Free up wages maybe? Reduce outgoings on those not in MM's plans.
Let's try and push for a season of hope.
