Very exciting to see that Rubin Colwill, Isaak Davies, Kieron Evans and Sam Bowen have all traveled to Birmingham City today :bluebird: :bluebird:

They are 19 & 20 year olds, come through our Accademy, now is the time to see how far they really have come :bluebird:

Really looking forward to seeing a couple of them (hopefully) get a run out at senior level today :bluebird:

Well done the club and academy I've been saying it for years that it takes time for the massive investment the club has made over the last decade to come through, hopefully these players and many more make the grade

Yes Wez let’s hope after 11 years we finally have four players who will regularly play next season for us as we have not done nothing for 11 years and hopefully finally we have got there as before 11 years ago we regularly saw our players coming through :thumbright: :bluebird:

And remember Bagan and Sang have already made the breakthrough and will be regulars next year. Patten and there’s another lad whose name I can’t remember are also tipped to breakthrough. Very exciting. However we cannot afford to lose Moore at any price. You can’t replace a 20 year goal scorer . They are priceless particularly we way we play. We need to build a team around him and Morrison. If we sold him for 10 million we would get a dud for 1 million and the rest of the money would be squandered on wages of overplayed players or thrown at legal costs for senseless battles. The hierarchy said they had already put away the money for Sala. With these young players coming through we have plenty of experience to help them so we must get rid of Tomlin Vassell and Jonny Williams. They are forever injured and therefore of no use to us.

A bit shocked Wez, if Big Mick really rated them surely he would start with more than one Accademy player as Brum have started with Six?

Annis, I do wish I shared your optimism!

In theory, you are of course correct. It is the way forward and we need players coming through and in that way it is indeed exciting.

My concern is that these players were not able to influence games at their age level, and all played major parts in a very disappointing season for their peers.

Warnock and Harris did not have confidence in them and suddenly they are all promoted to Championship level football.

I back one or two to be in or around the squad so they can learn from seasoned pros. If seems Tan is trusting our entire season to them as a group next year which is unfair on them, the club and the fans.

I would be very pleased to be proved wrong but I don't get the sense of confidence I had when Lesley, Ramsey, Matthews were thrown in.

Yes but I really wanted to see our real Accademy players play not other clubs.
Gutted not started any others.

Fair play to Brum.

Mick said earlier that wont play them as not fair on rest of league ?mmmmm a team as rested its 5 best players against an opponent who need a point to send another team down! Really disappointed we have not played 3 of the youngsters regardless of whether he rates them or not! If doing it after orders from above play them then! :old:
