There are such things as training and playing Under 23 matches.

They don't just rock up on a Saturday five minutes before kick off.

Thanks for clearing that up, there's me thinking they sit in a cupboard all week and get let out on matchday. The point I was trying to make is that he hasn't featured in the first team and yet he's injured. Makes you wonder what they do in training, wasn't Johnny Williams out for weeks after getting kicked in training? Something wrong with training methods in our players are getting crocked isn't there?

Nah they don’t sit in a cupboard all week but what they do is they play football during training! Yeah they run, sprint, tackle and all the things they do in a match surprisingly.

Footballers get knee injuries, ankle injuries, pull muscles and all sorts. I remember when Dean Ashton had his ankle shattered in training for England some years back.

Watching the football the other evening and I saw Granit Xhaka get an injury during the warm up. Had to go off and couldn’t play. Lucky that wasn’t a City player or you could have another reason to blame the club for something that happens everywhere and is hardly unique to us ffs.

Watching the football the other evening Granit

They also have lives outside of football too, plenty of instances of players getting injured outside of training. Tripping over curbs/steps, burns from cooking, pulled muscle stretching for the TV remote, etc. Was it Roger Federer who injured himself getting out the bath I believe? Needed surgery if I recall

There numerous injuries like that, the one I remember is Rio Ferdinand straining his knee tendons while sitting watch the football or something.
The point is that some people on here just love to have a go at the club whatever.

Looks like we are playing to lose this game.
Should be 4 down.

Finally an attack from Cardiff, but a succession of crosses don't find their targets. Wilson's final ball in is scooped over the bar.

Michael Ihiekwe with a studs-up challenge on Ng there. Looked nasty. But a yellow card. Perhaps a little lucky.

Derby have had a goal ruled out for offside

Kieffer Moore slides in Colwill down the flank, but his cross is too close to Blackman and he saves comfortably.

Rotherham missed an open goal

Ryan Giles whips in a cross, but Phillips does well to collect on the half volley.

Credit Rotherham, they've been absolutely excellent but we are on the beach. Shocking first half.

That late goal doesn't change anything.

Sheffield Wednesday and Derby still going down as it stands.

Rotterham are so up for this and we are so not.

In addition, shows how utterly void we are of any substance in midfield. As far as I'm concerned Ralls and Bacuna can both fk off. I feel sorry for Colwill, being on the same pitch as these clowns. Brown can function at centre back but nowhere else. We really are scraping the barrel in defence and it shows how sh*te we are when a team like Rotterham can pose so many threats. If Jonny (sorry 'Harry') Williams/Wilson can't get on the pitch today, when will he ever?

My glass is not even a quarter full with this club. We are barely papering over the huge gaping holes.

Rant over :old: :old: :old: :old: :old: :old: :old: :old: :old: :old:

It was not offside. There was a Derby player between the box and line that the camera did not pick up keeping them onside.

I'm watching the Derby game here but from what I'm hearing we are not at the races. Really disappointing that.

Better from Cardiff, who break through Bacuna and Wilson.

Wilson lays it off for Moore, who looks to bend one from 25 yards, but it's over the bar.

Michael Smith pulls the trigger in hte box, but Brown blocks well.

Cardiff break through Wilson, who once again lays off Moore, but Richard Wood blocks it.

A lovely ball over the top there and Michael Smith drills one low from a tight angle. Phillips saves smartly with his left foot.
