They said wont do it yesterday ..... yet they are restricting fans inside stadiums @ euro 20 because of covid but happy to drag 10k fans across Europe which will be in some sort of lockdown! Silly idiots.

With no fans in attendance I guess it wouldnt hurt? But perhaps could have it at Wembley with some??

Would imagine the turks will have something to say about it though, perhaps some compensation for lack of publicity for Istanbul (not that it needs any!) I know there is another lockdown there at present, but I believe thats being done to make sure they aren't on the "red list" for holidays?

It has to be moved, we can't allow UK fans to travel to a dodgy country with Covid, stick them on the red list and keep them there and make it as difficult as possible to UK fans to attend.

Or they could move it to the UK if they want UK fans involved, we don't need a UK potential covid spike because UEFA won't be sensible!

Then the fans shouldnt travel? And how will they if no flights to turkey? Bit rude to say a dodgy country with covid, when we have had it worse here! Atick them on the red list, and keep them there? Nice thinking.its only 24 days to final anyway, istanbul was awarded the final and imho, should keep it, nobody would be saying anything if it weren't two english sides in final.

At moment Istanbul is in lockdown so it is dodgy to allow 10k fans to descend on it.... not sure if got enough flights to get half that many there but certainly fans will be isolated when return hows that going to work? Better have game with only local fans in.

Easy solution:

Wait until the 2 finalists are confirmed then select a ground from their home country using the tried and tested process of rock-paper-scissors.

Aston Villa have told UEFA they're ready to host it if needed.

Allan turkey is in a two week lockdown, but its in readiness for tourism, and to make sure they dont fall into "red list" countries.no major outbreaks, just boxing clever.

I read this morning that people are flying from Pakistan and India to Turkey to isolate there for 10 days as it’s cheaper than U.K. .
With the numbers of COVID in zinnia , do we really want 10000 Brits going to Istanbul and possibly picking up Indian variant ?

Dont blame them they like rest Europe need tourists this year..... either clever or manipulating the situation so that it looks like its under control but as soon as you release restrictions go back up? Personally wouldn't go near Europe if had a free holiday even with my 2 jabs! Even if it's not on red list you still probably need to isolate but guess for fans its worth hassle.
