GUTTED TO SAY:
IF & I MEAN IF ?? BIG MICK GIVES JONNY WILLIAMS A NEW CONTRACT THEN MY SUPPORT & BELIEF IN BIG MICK WILL START TO DWINDLE PRETTY FAST.
Jonny Williams injury prone beyond, 28 years old later this year, has in his last 10 years averaged 13-14 appearances a season (many as sub), been here since January and started one game, a League one player at best.
Done nothing to prove he is Championship player even if he wasnt injued all the time.

I've always thought he would give Williams a contract.People would only moan if we started doing a Derby,besides he'll be no worse than than Tomlin or Vassell and Mick is best placed to know.

Whilst at 28, he isnt exactly old,its looking increasingly likely he will be here next season,especially after that MM quote(if true of course!).
Then it surely jas to be a pay as you play deal? Anything else imho is a waste of time,unless somehow he has a miraculous turnaround in playing a full season, and scoring goals, specialist free kick skills etc etc and plays more than 11 games!!

Hang on, whilst we might all have our views on his ability, so far he's been fit since he's been with us apart from the first couple of games hasn't he ?
Now, don't get me wrong, he ain't a Harry Wilson but he certainly has enough for us to take a gamble on a pretty cheap 1-2 year contract.
I've actually quite liked what I've seen from him as he does provide something we haven't got from Rall, Pack or Vaulks and that's an ability to run with the ball.
So as long as we're not giving him a "Tomlin" contract I'm pretty relaxed on this one.

i wouldnt give a player a 50p a week contract to play if the best season they could muster is 11 games in a season tbh. over rated and injury prone like a few other injury prone crocks, total wastes of money by the club imo
