I doubt this poll will even be close to the actual results, the demographics and views of this forum are quite different to the wider population.

Only result I can see happening is a Labour/Plaid coalition. Lib Dems won't win enough seats to make up the number Labour fall short of a majority and PC would never form a coalition with the Conservatives.

This may not be accurate for Wales, as some voters may be in England, Northern Ireland or Scotland.

Didn't vote obviously but labour will win because they always do. No matter how much damage they do to the Welsh economy the Welsh people are like lemmings running over the cliff.

Thankfully the country is in the hands of a responsible governing party; I’d prefer it to be more right if it’s present position but increasing the state has been a necessary result of the pandemic. Once that’s cleared up the government can get on with delivering their smaller state and capitalist agenda for the greater good of the UK population.

Looking very much like the results will prove that the general political climate in the different parts of the UK can not be seen as a collective for the whole of the UK.

Nobody has had a disastrous election and nobody has had an outstanding election (with the possible exception of the SNP). Labour will have serious questions from within due to the results in England, but will be happy with how it's gone in Wales. Conservatives will be delighted with the English results, particularly Hartlepool, but would have hoped for better in Scotland and Wales. Even the Lib Dems haven't had an awful campaign.

Labour look to be heading towards a strong result in Wales, but struggling massively in large parts of England.

Plaid would have hoped for better.

Conservatives dominating large parts of England partly due to the collapse of the Brexit Party/UKIP, but most areas of London staying with Labour again. Labour also extremely likely to keep their mayors of Manchester, Liverpool and London. Reports that Andy Burnham may well have increased his majority in Manchester by a big amount.

In Scotland, the SNP are staying strong ahead of the Conservatives and are still in with a small chance of having an overall majority.




The most obvious conclusion is that those who are currently in power across the three nations (Labour - Wales, Conservatives - England, SNP - Scotland) are enjoying a bounce due to the success of the vaccine rollout.

But that is just a theory and, like all theories, if could be completely wrong and there may be other stronger factors.

My MP is a carbon copy socialist who just does not get the fact we are in the 21 century.

Fully expected the result but what pissed me off was the BBC Wales coverage it was like a Mark Drakeford love in. BBC Wales / Scotland have a responsibility for this result as they have provided both Drakeford / Sturgeon their own TV channel to spout their views without a single serious or challenging question to either of them for the last year.

In Wales it just shows that the feeble minded "We vote Labour we do" have sucked up the slow and safe Drakeford bollocks over the last 12 months. The truth is he is a charlatan and just a couple of his howlers like "Face masks only provide marginal benefit" and the vaccine rollout is "Not a Race" show him for the idiot he is.

I've always voted Labour but not yesterday I voted Conservative and fair play they are the only party to make any inroads into the "We vote Labour we do mindset".

Biggest issue for Wales now is will Drakeford look for a coaltion or some sort of working arrangement because with no majority and the "Speaker" being Plaid he needs something. Drakeford and his cronies are looney left Adam Price and his cronies are loonier left
