The only place in the country not to count votes overnight, they are going to count them on Friday morning, they say it's because of Covid ? really what difference does it make counting them overnight to counting them on friday morning, unless of course Covid has disappeared overnight.
Perhaps someone can explain because i cannot see why!

The whole voting process doesn’t seem to have been managed very well, what with the Queuing fiasco to. What you’d expect from a third world country...

Why make a definitive statement when it's easily proven wrong? Scotland also isn't counting votes over night, nor are the majority of the English local elections, mayoral races or PCC counts. The number of places counting votes overnight is in the minority.

OK, West coast, can you also check if any of the other countries left a candidate off the list please?
They are bloody clueless !!!

" It was a printing error, but I have spoken to the candidate personally " WTF ?

My mistake I read last night that Scotland was counting overnight. My point though being Wales are saying that they are not counting overnight because of Covid and i was asking the question what is the difference between overnight counting and counting today saying it is because of covid which i do not understand why!

We all know how Labour like to affect the voting.
Postal votes, lost votes, double voting. All seem to happen in Labour winning areas where corruption occurs.
Leaving the vote count to this morning gives them more time to "adjust" the numbers.

Believe what you want to butt. There's no evidence of corruption.

Well we've got another term of their policies may as well rename them the greens as they will bend over backwards to appease the environmental lobby or the waste party as that's what they'll doing again wasting millions like on the a465 dualling the 11miles @ 1billion+ for saving what exactly?

Ahhhh saving lives in the traffic jams created by rd closures and 20mph speed limits ohh musnt forget the bus lanes in places where theres no room for them ? Sounds about right! Oops forgot about fact own an airport but wont improve access to it something every man and his dog knows is needed (except drakeford) so letting it stagnate good management by the great leader

I thought typical wales would have been the laughable endorsement of woke welsh labour by south wales and the valleys,
perhaps letting the children vote let them increase their vote as that was the plan.
mind you when you have and area full of local government and endless education facilities its no surprise really.

Only the English seem to see through labour wales still living in the past it would seem vote red no matter what even though they no longer represent the working class.

Prepare for more nonsense from the plaid/labour duopoly, cloud cuckoooland carries on.

Listening to people they've interviewed they must done it outside labour offices as all say how good he handled pandemic? Here not same response in fact couldn't se e a labour poster anywhere all conservative or plaid! Must wonder if the valley sheep voted again as what have labour done for valleys besides spend lot of money on a rd out of valleys...

I take it you live down west so you wouldn't know but you only mentioned the A465 which used to be one of the most dangerous roads in the UK let alone Wales. The money was well spent there as the historical death toll was unacceptable.Your trying to answer a fact with supposition, anyway like they say"twentys plenty" :old:

Yes like there are several deaths a year on our a40 and a477 in pembs but we dont have £10m a mile rd improvement in a location where drakeford was an AM and got property here.... only saying other day while slowly going down manor way glad left Cardiff as driving around it is painfully slow! Yes 20 is plenty as rest Wales is going to find out and wait for 50mph on all major rds that are being looked at.... sure WG labour have plenty of decisions like owning an airport but refusing to fund the one thing everyone knows it needs namely a relief rd
Makes lot of sense dont you think ? Anyway got no time for that Judas called drakeford or labour as power as gone to their heads in Cardiff and wales as people will find out even more this term in office.

Ooops £10m a mile i grossly underestimated cost for the dualling as it is around £1billion in total for 40km of rd .....or £300m for present 8 km of rd being built ......and £700m+ for the other 32km of rd Good value for money dont you think

Putting aside I hate the man.... look at the money wasted and the sucking upto the environmentalists to get votes he and his party have presided over past 20yrs.... as for Cardiff council it is littered with broken promises and totally bonkers ideas like pulling down bus station for two carbunkles and putting station in a little corner 4/5 yrs after it was supposed to be built! Again they oandr to environmentalists with scheme like castle st closure list is endless? Thats what you get for having a party in power to long they think can do things with impunity.. yes lucky up here drakeford fcked off after doing the dirty on his constituents ....

Whilst most forward thinking economies are improving infrastructure to aid the economy, we’re going the other way. Social workers don’t understand where the money comes from.. never had to go out and earn any.

Hasn’t Drakeford got only 20% or so share of the electorate.. crap Assembly no mandate

Dont you know public transport and cycling is way forward even though it won't be used but it keeps environmentalists happy...

And now we are to have Vague Gethin in charge of the economy!
There really is no hope.
I agree with the comments here about the valleys population still voting red after 20 years of misery and health and education services way behind England yet alone other European countries.
I really did think that this time all the rhetoric around lunacy local lockdowns last autumn and the farce of refusing to build m4 relief road may have made a difference. Sadly not.

Conservatives have gained AMs but 5 yrs of mediocre management to come and replace one idiot in gethin with another elenud Morgan as health secretary doesn't bode well for us in pembs even though she is a local politician! The standard of politicians in uk is woeful thats nothing compared to the dosh in Wales ....

Agreed. At least elenud Morgan has a husband who is a Doctor. What place Gethin has being in charge of economy is beyond me. Though when Dripford goes he will likely be in charge of the lot. The calibre of these people is truly shocking, career politicians and nobodies.

Just what we wanted.. a feckless trade unionist in charge of the economy. Aren’t we backward enough already. Anyone who’s worked with the Unions will know the type of dysfunctional weirdo attracted to that life..
