Sheffield United and Scotland football star Oli McBurnie has allegedly been captured on camera punching and kicking a man before stamping on his phone, with his soon-to-be relegated club already looking into the matter.
The controversial footage caught on a camera phone starts with someone calling the player's name.

Then, a man who is allegedly the 24-year-old Scotland player, approaches while the mobile tumbles to the ground but remains recording.

What baffles me is how that lot managed to get 20 million for him, that's 30 million too much.

Awful player even worse human. Hopefully he gets locked up, we'll see how tough skeletor is then.

I dislike McBurnie a lot.

Even if a little provoked to behave like that shows what a prick he is.

However I have a lot of respect for his agent, he is literally a miracle worker.

And incredibly not the biggest waste of money by Sheffield Utd for someone who has played for the Jacks. They paid £23.5 million for Rhian Brewster who has failed to score in 25 games for for them. Maybe they will give us £40 million for Moore.

That was hardly being provoked was it? Was just a chopsy kid that's all.

And Oli couldn't take it.

What a snowflake. His reaction is disgraceful.

Agree with this.

If I was in a pub and someone says something that pisses me off, then I would expect to be arrested if I then decided to assault them because of that.

Likewise if McBurnie was playing in a match, and one of the supporters in the crowd shouted something at him which he didn't like then he would be in big trouble if he assaulted them - the same should apply with this case. A bit like Eric Cantona's kung-fu kick, for which he was charged with assault.

Also, the way he wears his socks when he's playing only up to ankles, is a chargeable offence in itself.

On one hand we bemoan the way people are on social media and say “if he said that in the street he would get a slap” then someone possibly (I’m not saying definitely) says something out of order and gets a slap.

People have a point where they react.

I have no idea what was said before or if anything was in just saying there could be justification.

I’m with maccydee on this one because nobody knows what was said.
Everyone has a breaking point.

If some guy shouted to you about how they wish your kids would die of cancer and sexually abuse your wife, like what happened to Beckham, would you walk away?
I know I wouldn’t.

That that was just an example and it’s unlikely that was said but my point being maccydee is right as we don’t know.

Saying all this, I agree with you that the guy comes across as a tw*t for sure.
