Reports now saying the bus was a 'decoy' and another bus has arrived outside the Liverpool team hotel...

Smart move, if true... :D

Fair play, their fans are determined that their team never plays Liverpool again.

Liverpool have boarded their team bus and are on their way to Old Trafford with a police escort from the team hotel.

Players and officials boarded the bus around 6.30pm and are expected at the ground shortly following a two-mile journey.

Before the usual brigade criticise these fans for using their right to protest...

It should be noted there is no reports of any violence at this point and it is all peaceful.

Liverpool's team and coaching staff have made it into Old Trafford.

Manchester United's players have been there since about 2pm in the hospitality area and have now also gone down to their dressing room.

Very little danger of this match being delayed or postponed again, with the peaceful protest outside.

That's all good tobhear, Ned

Right to protest is a given in my book, so long as it done within the legal perameters

A little sketchy as to what happened to the coach but it did move after the reported 'attack'

Maybe peaceful but the intent was to stop the game... premier league should tell man u fans or any other fans for that matter if they force postponement of a game the team will forfeit the points? That eill allow protests but will stop intention to stop game going ahead..

Not sure if that would work out. You’d end up with games getting postponed and forfeited all the time after fans cotton on it could benefit their team. Imagine Bristol or Swansea losing on the final day relegated them, I’m sure some Cardiff fans, Rovers fans or fans of the other relegation teams would take the short trip to disrupt the game.

In the original Man Utd/Liverpool fixture, a Utd loss would result in Man City winning the league. Had such rules been in place I’m sure a fair few from the blue half of Manchester would’ve turned out to the anti Glazers protest in an attempt to get the game forfeited and win the league.

Obviously wont be done without scrutiny as to who is causing trouble but something needs to be done otherwise other clubs fans may cotton on to protests and get their games postponed where will it end? The clubs went to extreme lengths to get this game on what will happen when fans in ground and got 70k fans mingling around
ground instead of couple thousand?
