Sky Sports: UK Government turns down football crowd

Sky Sports:

The Government have turned down a request from the EFL for 22,500 fans to be allowed at the Championship play-off final at Wembley this month, despite having agreed to permit that number for the Champions League final at the same venue on the same date.

The only positive sign i would say and im no one special in this argument is that there are over 2k cases and hardly anyone dying from this variant, which tells you that vaccine continue to work against it and in terms of fans in stadiums well apart from getting into your seat via inside the ground its largely safe because everyone is outdoors and spaced out in seats. So the risk factor is very limited in terms of watching the football live in stadiums.
