Recent Cardiff City target Jordan Rhodes is expected to comp

Recent Cardiff City target Jordan Rhodes is expected to complete his move from Sheffield Wednesday to Huddersfield Town.

Cardiff made contact over a potential move to Rhodes towards the end of the January window in light of Robert Glatzel's loan departure to Mainz.

Rhodes was thought to be interested in the move but also safe in the knowledge there would be suitors come the end of the season.

However, it is understood Cardiff have not made any further enquiries since those initial overtures in January.

According YorkshireLive, though, Huddersfield are in pole position to land the striker, who enjoyed a prolific goalscoring spell there earlier in his career between 2009/12.

Given the sheer volume of strikers Cardiff now have in place, it is unlikely they will be in the market for another frontman. Unless, of course, Kieffer Moore leaves.

Can't say I am too bothered now we have got Collins. Of the two Collins might be the better bet. Rhodes seems to have had long peroids where he does nothing very much.

Not sure about "the sheer volume of strikers Cardiff have in place" Who are they? Yes Moore and Collins are good but the manager does not seem to rate Watters at all and the jury is still out on Harris. At least one of them will probably be on loan next season. If either Moore or Collins got injured we would be stuck with only one striker the manager wants to play. Maybe get a loan striker in from a premier league club.

Collins has yet to be tested at this level, not saying he wont be a decent player for us, time will tell.lets hope moore stays or I wouldnt be overly confident of collins beinfg our main striker.
