He as a major flaw in his makeup... no subs until well into extra time even though players obviously tired..... tactic wise hes done this before team sslow going forward 2 shots on target no energy going forward all game ! Out thought by Emery who themselves only had 1 shot on target but looked far more likely to score than utd which just about sums up utd performance poor.

The way the game went was exactly how Emery wanted it to go. Knew he couldn't leave space for Man Utd's forwards to counter attack because they'd lose that battle.

He stopped the counter attacks by not piling forward (the early goal helped that) and Ole has no plan b so Emery was probably confident they could at least draw over 120 minutes.

Emery as won it 4 times now.... so ole knew what was the game plan as if remember emery as done this in previous finals totally nullify opponents? Ole just didn't know what to do 90mins 1 sub is madness considering team never looked like scoring never mind quality on bench they couldn't be any toothless and at least give team some energy they sorely lacked. Like said not 1st time ole as played to cautiously.
