Anyway, you haven’t answered the question, just cited a few day to day media snippets..

Let's say you have to give a speech, would you feel respected if people booed you throughout? Of course you wouldn't.
Surely the aim of this booing is to be disrespectful? You're trying to show that you don't like it, don't want it, and don't think it should happen. You can't say that's respectful to anyone who wants it/ is taking the knee.

I did think I answered your question but am surprised you've described the 2 biggest events in the UK in about 50 years as "day to day media snippets".
I'll retell it simply:

Booing taking the knee is showing a lack of respect and increasing a culture war that certain people and papers have been stirring to further their agenda and divide this country when in fact if we stopped and listened to both sides and respected each other we could easily compromise and move on to actually tackling important issues (which is what the people making these divides don't want).

but taking the knee in support of a political movement was also showing lack of respect. which has since been doubled down on by not having the balls to admit that they were foolish gullible and unknowingly supporting a left wing political movement , instead of the attempt to morph it into something else ... maybe they { those kneeling } should have stopped and listened when they eventually figured out the bleeding obvious .but instead the priority was not to look wrong so have now embarked on a tirade of name calling.... its divisive, deliberate and has achieved nothing... yet continues as some sort of pissing contest...

Well going based solely off what you said then if they were first unknowing and then once they found out that they were linked with a left wing (gasp) group they changed it then surely that's showing compromise and acknowledging the complaints?

gasp indeed .... sorry do not get it ,why are you trying to make out that BLM is non political...
as for changing it    yes im sure you could raise an arm and claim its NOT sieg heil too ,or flick the team and make out its the new gesture for good luck...
all seems a bit desperate to turn a group of people who are not racists into the racist enemy....

Wales took the knee today. Made me feel proud. That’s my opinion. I also respect anyone’s opinion which is different to mine. Let’s stay calm over this people.
