Liverpool ace Harry Wilson is reportedly a transfer target for West Brom

West Brom have emerged as one of the favourites to sign Liverpool star Harry Wilson, The Athletic report.

Cardiff City have expressed an interest in bringing the 24-year-old back to the Welsh capital this summer after an impressive loan spell last season.

However, it looks increasingly likely that Liverpool will look to cash in on Wilson, who they believe is one of their most valuable and sellable assets.

The report states that the Anfield club value Wilson between £12m and £15m, which will put a pretty hefty dent in any club's transfer budget this summer.

Brentford have been linked with a move for some time and are even thought to have touched base with the Merseyside outfit over a deal for Wilson.

Now, though, the Baggies, who were relegated from the Premier League last term, are said to be an interested party in the Wilson pursuit.

Given two clubs boosted by Premier League money and/or parachute payments are now in the mix for his permanent signature, the prospect of WIlson re-joining the Bluebirds on a temporary basis looks very slim.
