Middlesbrough could potentially offer Sol Bamba a contract for the new season, should he prove his fitness to boss Neil Warnock.
That's according to Football League World, who claim that the 36-year-old could well be poised to link up once again with his former boss for the new Championship campaign.
The pair enjoy a good relationship following their time in the Welsh capital together, with Bamba training with Boro following his release from the Bluebirds earlier this summer.
Now, reports claim that Warnock may well be ready to offer him a deal to sign on at the Riverside should he impress during the pre-season programme.
Welsh club Cardiff City released Bamba after promising him a coaching job.
