Middlesbrough have made a bid to sign Cardiff City defender Ciaron Brown, according to an exclusive report from Football League World.

Middlesbrough are light in numbers at centre-back with just two senior players in that position. Grant Hall and Dael Fry will be the go-to pairing, although midfielder Paddy McNair and full-backs Anfernee Dijksteel, Marc Bola, and Lee Peltier could also be utilised in the centre.

Given that every player has his price I wonder what City's valuation is.

Id sell him if an offer came in. Decent defensively but his ability on the ball and his distribution is poor. He's probably behind mark mcguinnes as well.

Think he is ok but a bit ordinary at this level so if the offer was in anyway half decent would be inclined to sell.

I don’t really rate Brown, but maybe that’s just me.

I wouldn’t trust Warnock to spend an Amazon gift card wisely.

Take what ever they offer. No where near good enough in my opinion.
