Gets the Ross county managers job

Ross County play in the top tier of the Scottish Premier.

Malky Mackay:

Mackay: “I have nothing to hide over past”
“I can say now I left Cardiff with my head held high and brought success to them.”

“To this day I get messages every week of Cardiff fans thanking me.”
“For me Cardiff was a great club with so much potential, I move on now and will give it my all at Ross County.”

New Ross County boss Malky Mackay hopes fans will give him a chance after being critical of his appointment and says he has nothing to hide regarding his time at Cardiff City.

“This will be my first managers job with nothing hanging over me and I can get on with the job of managing.”

They didn’t seem to mind us in red though.

However, you are steadfast Annis. Respect that.

But some of those people who reply to you. Clowns.

Quality football. I spat my tea everywhere when I saw that.

I think Malky would have kept us up.One of the worst business decisions in the history of our club. :bluescarf: :bluescarf: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :bluebird: :bluebird:

A tremendous manager. And remember when we were in the Premiership under him we were never in the bottom 3. After January we had easier fixtures. He would in my mind have kept us up.

We were never bottom three under Harris but it is said he would have taken us down.

My view is that we had been found out and the players knew Malky had no plan b. One direction we were going. The three nil loss to Southampton clearly showed that.

Really positive football?

We were king of the one nil wins. Then nil nil draws where we snuck over the line in the championship having spent shit loads on the squad.

People are literally making shit up.

There’s rose tinted glasses and there’s people changing history.

72 goals scored in 46 games.

Attractive football it was not.

My biggest annoyance that. The amount spent by Malky and we were not in any way prepared for the premier league.

Malky wasn’t at all arsed about the red. To quote him ‘that side doesn’t affect me’ whereas Warnock would have seen the impact and had an input.

He also briefed against the club to get the fans on side when he knew he had done stuff that was deserving of the sack. He put himself over the club and it was massively detrimental to the club.

Tan was always going to react the way he did. Anyone who knows anything about his culture knows it would always be that way.

I have one question.

How do you think Sam would have dealt with Malky after his racism and after the signing of Cornelius?

Good luck to him.

If nothing else, it can't be forgotten that he did a brilliant job for us.

All I got is good memories of Malky he was sacked and treated terrible at the end by Tan and Dalman our so called chairman.

Changing us red was bad enough but to publicly humiliate not just Malky but the club from that day at Liverpool I will never forget , the simple fact is Tan and Dalman cost us premiership football we got relegated by them not Malky if they kept their stupid noses out I truly believe he would have kept us up

Then even after all that they still went after Malky after knowing they brought in Ollie that turned into a disaster but to me it was all bullshit and lets be honest our club still gets let down by these idiots who run our club.

Malky did a great job took us to premiership and if Tan was not so full of himself and stayed with him who knows would have happened but what did happen was in my view down to Tan and his big head trouble is that head might a business head but knows bugger all about football same as Dalman

Or the season before when we were hammered by the Wurzels.

Skid, you can’t let those attractive, flowing football lies go.

For attractive flowing football I’d have to say Dave Jones’ side was that. Unfortunately they had a habit of bottling the big occasion and there have been numerous accounts of players basically doing what they wanted.
Malky’s style of football wasn’t as exciting imo but it was effective. He didn’t tolerate bottlers and insisted on 100% effort.
It would have been interesting to see how Malloy would have done with the team that DJ had at his disposal.
All interesting comments to debate though
