However, we have been vaccinating 16/17 year olds this week and the difference is massive. They are very much different to their elders. I wonder if this pandemic has actually hardened them? They seem a lot tougher.
While a small sample size be interested in the views of others.

So 40 - 150 - alright relaxed no issues
18-40 - wimps
16 - 17 Tougher and not scared
Is that what you are saying in a nicer way?
If so will the tough kids turn into wimps in a year or two? Could it be connected with Uni?

I don’t have kids so don’t see kids a lot but this pandemic and the extremes the school aged children faced must have had an effect on them and possibly in a positive way.

Thankfully Neil, Mallorca did the opposite to UK and all our children never missed a days school other than the real lockdown in March 16th 2020 fr three months. My girls go to Spanish state schools.
And no one in their schools were ill.
Even the English private schools over here opened and i spoke to a few people from them and they could not understand UK closing them.

Not at all with 18-40. The young 20s I found were quite wet more often than not.
I think life and its experiences has a profound effect on you. This pandemic and the craziness that has occurred in schools for example might have toughened them up.
Probably jabbed ten 16-17 year olds yesterday and all of them were happy days stick it in me.
The 22 year old I jabbed had to sing the owl and the pussycat to get his mind off being jabbed.
The 149 year old I jabbed didn’t make it out sadly. Their head dropped off.

Annis the truth as to why schools in uk closed was the teachers didnt want to stay open they were the most vocal in complaining about getting infected from kids ... whole schools were closed because couple of kids were in close proximity to an infected person... now they are demanding specialist ventilation in classes before go back in September.... spain did the right thing keeping schools open that's for sure
