A mixed first half that saw City opening brightly before being caught out by a slick move from Brighton that saw them score the opening goal

In fairness to City, they have had their moments and Murphy has been on his toes out wide with Collins and NG linkung well

At the back, Flint has been solid but I do wonder if the injury to Sean Morrison (subbed) will be telling as the game goes on

Started brightly, but nothing through the middle. Individually, Bowen, D'Almeida have been OK, however the performance which was enthusiastic in the first 20 mins has, as Sven says, gone stale.

We need to get back into the game with three kids and Wintle, who does look out of his depth. As OK as we have been Brighton have us where they want us. They can adequately defend our only threat.

Oh, a special mention for Nelson. The guys distribution is worse than awful. Without Morrison next to him he's completely lost.

City open the second half brightly and a lovely little turn and move from young D'Almeida sees a cross into a dangerous area but the ball is collectrd by the Brighton keeper

Then another attack sees a rise in the City crowd noise before a claimed penalty shout is given the other way

Brighton up the pace and attack through the City midfield, as the referee waves play on and Brighton get their second goal of the game quite easily

Some good work by D'Almeida intercepting and then releasing the ball to Moore, who turns and crosses into the Brighton 6 yard box before it is cleared
