Crazy scenes tonight at Nice v Marseille on Ligue 1.
Dimitri Payet of Marseille went over to take a corner in front of the Nice fans. One of the fans threw a bottle at him and it hit him on the back of his head.
Payet then threw the bottle back towards the Nice fans.
Crazy scenes then followed with all fans and the players getting aggressive, as well as the Marseille coaching staff and manager. Some of the Nice fans then invaded the pitch.
One of Marseille's staff members, wearing a bib that staff members and substitutes wear, was seen on video punching a Nice fan and knocking him to the ground.
It is unclear whether the match will continue (with about ten minutes left and Nice leading 1-0) but Marseille's President, Pablo Longoria, has been quoted as saying in the tunnel to French football officials "we will not play, we will not play".
